Sky Hook was a fanzine published by Redd Boggs in the 1940s and '50s in the U.S.A.
Sky Hook was a Fantasy Amateur Press Association publication that had its premiere in Winter of 1948. Boggs' previous zine Chronoscope was merged into this new title.
Writers for Sky Hook included Poul Anderson, James Blish (The Planeteer), writing as himself and as William Atheling, Jr., Virginia Kidd (as "Virginia Blish") (Snarl, Kinesis), Robert Bloch, John Chapman, Walter Coslet (The Scientifictionist), Philip Jose Farmer, Dean Grennell (Filler, Grue), Terence Heywood, Lee Hoffman (Quandry), David H. Keller, Damon Knight (Snide), Henry Kuttner, Noel Loomis, Robert Lowndes, Sam Moskowitz (Different), Con Pederson (IF!), Phil Rasch, Oliver Saari, Jack Speer (The National Fantasy Fan), Ken Tuttle, and Walt Willis (Slant, Hyphen).
