The Scientifictionist is a science fiction fanzine edited by Walter Coslet and Henry Elsner, Jr. and published as "A Frontier Publication".

The first issue of The Scientifictionist was published in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. in September 1945. Eight issues were released, the last in April 1947. The first seven issues were produced from September 1945 to January 1947. The eighth issue (#2.2), not listed in Pavlat and Evans' Fanzine Index, is catalogued in both the Bruce Pelz Collection (University of California at Riverside) and Walter Coslet Collection (University of Maryland Baltimore County).

Contributors included Forrest J. Ackerman (Voice of the Imagi-Nation, Novacious), E. Everett Evans (Nova, The Timebinder, The National Fantasy Fan), Joe Kennedy (Vampire, Joe's Jottings), Francis T.
