Art Widner (sometime written as R Twidner, born 1918) is a science fiction fan and zine publisher.
Art Widner is recognized for his role in organizing the first SF fanclub in Boston with Louis Russell Chauvenet, Chandler Davis, Gertrude Kuslan, Louis Kuslan, Norman Stanley, R.D. Swisher, and others, called "The Stranger Club", in 1940.
Art's first zine, co-edited with Earl Singleton (Nepenthe) and Francis Paro, was called FanFare. After he released this zine he, along with Louis Russell Chauvenet and Damon Knight (Snide), was responsible for the formation of the National Fantasy Fan Federation.
