Sky Hook was a Fantasy Amateur Press Association publication that had its premiere in Winter of 1948. Bogg's previous zine Chronoscope was merged into this new title.
Writers for Sky Hook included Poul Anderson, James Blish (The Planeteer), writing as himself and as William Atherling, Jr., Virginia Blish (Virginia Kidd), John Chapman, Philip Jose Farmer, Dean Grennell (Filler, Grue), Terence Heywood, Lee Hoffman (Quandry), David H. Keller, Damon Knight, Noel Loomis, Sam Moskowitz (Helios), Con Pederson, Phil Rasch, Oliver Saari, Jack Speer, and Ken Tuttle.
