In A Prior Lifetime was a fanzine published by John Purcell.
Since its start as a perzine in 2003, In A Prior Lifetime has nonetheless featured contributors such as Chris Garcia (The Drink Tank, Journey Planet), Eric Mayer (E-Ditto), Lloyd Penney (Torus), Dave Romm, Garth Spencer (The Royal Swiss Navy Gazette, BCSFAzine), and Jim Sullivan.
Art work was contributed by Mark Burginger, Brad Foster, Kate Gaunt, Christopher Gerber, and Bill Rotsler.
Photographs were by John Purcell, Dave Truesdale, and Frank Wu.
Letters came from Leslie David, John Nielsen Hall, Janine Stinson (Peregrine Nations, Steam Engine Time), Peter Sullivan, Laurraine Tutahasi, and Ted White.
The last issue (#20) was posted in February, 2007. The complete archive is available in PDF on eFanzines.com.
John Purcell had earlier published This House from 1976 to 1989. After the publication of In A Prior Lifetime, he began the zine Askance.
