Rollerderby
Rollerderby was a zine from Dover, NH published throughout the 1990s by Lisa Carver.
It was explicit, feminist, often over-the-top and sometimes featured very graphic nudity. Issues of Rollerderby included interviews with Vaginal Davis, Dame Darcy, Cindy Dall, Boyd Rice, Nick Zedd, GG Allin, Kate Landau, Queen Itchie (Everything I Touch Turns to Shit and Garbage), Liz Armstrong and many others.
Contributors of articles included Reverend Anthony (Conquer Now).
Contributors of artwork included John Porcellino (King-Cat Comics and Stories), among others.
A collection of articles from the zine were published in Rollerderby: The Book, which was followed by a national book reading tour to a lot of zine and alt press bookstores.
Rollerderby is included in the Sarah Wood Zine Collection at Duke University, the Sarah and Jen Wolfe Zine Collection at The University of Iowa, and the West Coast Zine Collection at San Diego State University.
