Other Worlds was a science fiction and fantasy fanzine edited and published by Paul D. Cox in Columbus, Georgia, U.S.A.
The first issue was released in January 1948. At least two more issues appeared in 1948.
The slim first issue was comprised of a news column by J.T. Oliver (Worlds Apart) and a list of SF publications for sale by Cox. Cover art was by Lin Carter (Spaceteer, Spectrum).
It was Paul Cox who accompanied Shelby Vick and Lee Hoffman when the three of them confronted Bob Tucker at Nolacon with the revelation that Lee was not only the editor of Quandry, the most popular fanzine of the day, but also a girl.
Paul D. Cox also edited Just Plain Dill Pickle and Resonance, and was also co-editor of Worlds Apart, with John Kelly Jr., J.T. Oliver, and Van Splawn.
In May 2013, Bill Plott published a one shot titled, The J.T. Oliver Photo Collection on eFanzines.com. which includes a photo of Paul Cox, J.T. Oliver and Lee Hoffman sitting on a porch conspiring together. Among other fanzine publishers included in The J.T. Oliver Photo Collection is Bob Tucker.
