Luna Monthly
Luna Month is a science fiction fanzine by Ann Dietz.
Luna Monthly was published from 1969 till 1977, during which time 77 issues were released. Franklin Dietz edited Luna Prime, the Luna Monthly annual publication.
Contributors of writing included Forrest J Ackerman (Voice of the Imagi-Nation]]), on Arthur Louis Joquel II, Neil Barron, Greg Bear, Gian Paolo Cossato, Waler Ernsting, Roger Freedman, B.A. Frestrom, Leo P. Kelly, Walter Kumming, Jacqueline Lichtenberg, Karen Ludwig, Michael L. McQuown, Samuel Mines, Charlotte Moslander, Emil Petaja on Hannes Bok, Frederik Pohl (The International Observer of Science and Science Fiction, Arcturus ), Andrew Porter (Algol), Joyce Post, articles on J.G. Ballard by Mark Purcell, Joan Rapkin, Franz Rottensteiner, William Rupp, Joanna Russ, Darell Schweitzer, Paul Walker, and Ed Wood.
Also featured were interviews with Damon Knight (#34), Isaac Asimov (#38/39), Keith Laumer (#45), Philip Jose Farmer (#54), Clifford Simak (#57), John Brunner (#58), Edmond Hamilton (#60), Leigh Brackett (#61), Jack Williamson (#62), Ursula LeGuin (#63), Larry Niven (#66), and R.A. Lafferty (#67), among others. Many of the the interviews were conducted by Mark Purcell, and Luna released a book of these interviews in 1978, entitled Speaking of Science Fiction.
Contributors of art work included Alicia Austin (Kevas and Trillium).
Franklin Dietz had previously published the fanzine Science, Fantasy, and Science Fiction in the 1940s and the 1950s.
