David Nichols is a musician and zinester from Australia.
In 1984 David Nichols founded the band The Cannanes, an influential lo-fi group who released recordings throughout the 1980's and 1990's on independent labels such as K Records and John Porcellino's label, Spit and a Half. He has also been in the bands Blairmailer, Huon and Driving Past, and appeared on a single by The Go Team, a band from Olympia, Washington, helmed by Calvin Johnson and Tobi Vail.
