The East Village Inky is edited by Ayun Halliday. The title comes from one of Halliday's nicknames for her daughter. Much of the zine deals with parenting in a consistently light, humorous tone.

Ayun also writes The Big Rumpus and No Touch Monkey! And Other Travel Lessons Learned Too Late.
