Baby Bites Back is a zine devoted to music by Eleanor Linwood.
Baby Bites Back was published in the UK in the 1980s.
The fifth issue, released in 1988, was printed on pink paper with blue covers, and featured materis on The Darling Buds, Blind Mice, Ling of the Slums, The Bodines, Inspiral Carpets, The Galley Slaves, Safe Houses, Thrilled Skinny, The Train Set and The Waltons. It came with a flexi-disc of Safe Houses, featuring the song "If I Should Die".
Eleanor's father. Jim Linwood, was co-editor, with Michael Moorcock, of the 1950's fanzine Typo. In a letter to Prolapse fanzine, he describes Eleanor putting together her zine, using her mother's Good Housekeeping booklets; "Eleanor plundered the '50s style adverts for cookers and other dosmestic appliances to use as artwork in her punk-rock fanzine Baby Bites Back.
