Greg Pickersgill has been a leading figure in British science fiction fandom since the 1970s, as a fanzine writer, editor and convention organiser.
His fanzines include Fouler (with Leroy Kettle), Stop Breaking Down and Rastus Johnson's Cakewalk, which won the Nova Award for Best Fanzine in 1994. A collection of his writing, Can't Get Off the Island, was produced by Claire Brialey and Mark Plummer to coincide with the 2005 world sf convention.
