Axe is a science fiction fanzine by Larry Shaw (1924-1985) and Noreen Shaw (1930-2005).
Published in the 1960's in Evanston, Illinois, U.S.A. Axe was nominated for a Hugo Award for Best Fanzine in 1962.
Axe began life as a newssheet reporting on the WAW Fund to bring Walt Willis and Madelaine Willis to the U.S.A. It also included news items, and soon the editors decided to make it a general interest fanzine.
