MP Johnson is a zinester and author from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
MP Johnson is best known as the creator of Freak Tension zine, one of the longest running zines in the Midwest. Originally based in Wisconsin and currently based in Minnesota, the first issue of Freak Tension appeared in December of 1998. In the early 2000s, he wrote a regular online column for Razorcake zine. He currently contributes reviews.
MP Johnson is also an underground horror author whose short stories have appeared in more than 25 publications worldwide. As a B-Movie extra, his roles have included a drug dealer who was shot by the legendary Rudy Ray Moore in It Came From Trafalgar.
