Art Widner (sometime written as R Twidner, born 1918) is a science fiction fan and zine publisher.
Art Widner is recognized for his role in organizing the first SF fanclub in Boston (along with Louis Russell Chauvenet), called "The Stranger", in 1940.
Art's first zine was called FanFare. After he reLeased this zine he, along with Louis Russell Chavenet and Damon Knight, was responsible for the formation of the National Fantasy Fan Federation. His current FAPA zine YHOS is one of the longest running zines still being published. He is well known for stopping publishing YHOS for more than thirty years before returning and becoming an important part of fanzine fandom again in the 1980s.
