Martin Bowes was the editor of influential Coventry, UK fanzine Alternative Sounds.
He went on to form and be the driving force behind operatic electro goth band Attrition, who have released many CD's, toured the world over, and pushed the boundaries of sound beyond where it really ought to be. Once Alternative Sounds ceased publication, Martin also contributed to fellow Coventry fanzine Adventures in Reality.
