Dear Diary Zine Fest (DDZF) is an annual perzine festival held on unceded Ohlone land (East Bay / Oakland, California) beginning in 2018.
Past Events
2018
A DDZF pre-party was held at Wolfman Books on February 24, 7-9pm, with readings by Enola Dismay (No Gods No Mattress), Alex Wrekk (Brainscan), Angela Roberts (Supertrooper), and Neely Bat Chestnut (Mend My Dress).
DDZF was held on February 25, 12-5pm at the Humanist Hall in Oakland.
A DDZF yard sale fundraiser was held on November 3, 10am-4pm, in Berkeley.
2019
A DDZF pre-party was held at Wolfman Books on February 16, 6-8pm. DDZF was held on February 17, 11am-5pm, at the Humanist Hall in Oakland.
A Zine Workday was co-hosted by DDZF and San Francisco Zine Fest was held on June 20, 6-8pm at the Oakland Public Library's Main Library.
A Zine Workday was held on August 25, 11am-5pm, at Black Spring Coffee in Oakland.
2020
A Zine Workday was held on February 3, 11am-3pm, at Black Spring Coffee in Oakland.
DDZF was held on February 15, 11am-5pm, at Berkeley City College.
2022
Freedom Friday Zine Workday was held at the Parker Elementary Occupation in Oakland in July.
2023
DDZF was held virtually April 30 - May 6 and in-person on May 7, 11am-5pm, at the Humanist Hall in Oakland.
