Ayun Halliday publishes the zine The East Village Inky, a lighthearted, humorous take on motherhood. She has also written several books in a similar style. Before relocating to New York, she was a member of the Chicago theatre group the Neo-Futurists.
Ayun Halliday was one of the participants in the June 10, 2007 Bluestockings Zine Reading Extravaganza, reading from The East Village Inky. Also, Ayun and her zine are featured in the book DIY: The Rise Of Lo-Fi Culture by Amy Spencer.
