Same Heartbeats is a feminist DIY perzine from Belgium, created by Nina Zina of Echo Zines who used to make Flapper Gathering. It's written in English. The first issue came out in 2007 and it's now up to its 18th issue which came out in 2021.
Same Heartbeats started out as a travel zine, about visiting ladyfests and other queer/feminist festivals, and evolved more to a personal-political zine adding writing about feminist criticism, activism, theory and crafts. It discusses the feminist movement, DIY subcultures, traveling to feminist events, craft actions, self-publishing and zines, alternative media as activism, democratic collective organising, feminist history, DIY and more. More personal writing about ageing, friendship, and gender expression was also included in later issues.
