Graymalkin was published in Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A. and was first released in 1978. Denise Leigh continued to release issues up to #6, which appeared in 1981. It was 8 1/2 by 11" zine featuring articles, reviews, stories and letters.
Contributing writers included George S. Howard, Roy Lavender, George R.R. Martin, Jodie Offut, Jessica Amanda Salmonson (Windhaven), Bob Tucker (Le Zombie) with the article, "The Fannish Art of Time Binding", and a reprint of the article "The Highballs Are On Me", by Don Ford (Pooka) and Lou Tabakow.
