In issue #41 January 1996, the zine Musea started the Zine Hall of Fame. Since that time there have been 9 groups of inductees. The first 3 inductees were Factsheet 5, Global Mail, and Farm Pulp. Everyone is welcome to nominate candidates.

There are 3 main criteria for deciding who to include:

1. They must be zinesters, or independent publishers, or writers or artists for zines or independent publishers.

2. Their work must be of the highest quality.

3. They must have been published for at least 3 years or 12 issues (give or take a little) - or contributing to other zines for that long.
