Dark Dreams was a small press publication by David Cowperthwaite, Jeffrey Dempsey, and Mark Valentine.
Dark Dreams was a literary zine devoted to horror, supernatural and weird fiction, and was published in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Early issues were co-edited by david Cowperthwaite and mark Valentine, and later issues by David Cowperthwaite and Jeffrey Dempsey. Issue 3 was published in 1985, Issue 6 appeared in 1987, issue 7 in 1988, issue 8 in 1990, and issue 9, the last issue, in 1992.
