Dishwasher zine followed editor/publisher Dishwasher Pete's (Pete Jordan) mission to wash dishes in all 50 U.S. states. 15 issues were published during the 1990s and 2000s and a Dishwasher book is set to be published in 2007.
One issue came with an accompanying 7" compilation called Music to Wash Dishes By.
The Open Letters Project also features Pete's writing On A Clean Conscience and Rats
