Wild Honey Pie
Wild Honey Pie was a 1990s Riot Grrrl zine written by Kristy Chan of Cape Coral, Florida, U.S.A.
Touching on many topics, the zine included personal stories on surviving abuse, social commentary on women's issues and punk values, and informational articles on various topics (for example, female genital mutilation and mercury in fillings). It also included interviews, zine and music reviews and a pen pal page.
Issue 9 of Wild Honey Pie featured an interview with Allison Wolfe of the band Bratmobile and co-editor of Girl Germs, artsy stuff, and info.
Issue #10 has interviews with Mark Robinson (Unrest), Larry Livermore (Lookout!), Wynona Riders (Berkeley punk), Pietasters (D.C. ska), and Dick Lucas (the singer from Subhumans) and also articles and personal writing.
Wild Honey Pie is included in the Sallie Bingham Center Zine Collection at Duke University.
