Zine Guide #6 cover
Zine Guide was a review zine published by Brent Ritzel. The zine, which, with its glossy covers, more resembled a magazine, printed numerous zine listings, musician indexes, person (zinester) indexes and record label indexes.
In addition to the Zine Listings, Zine Guide also encouraged readers to "vote" or "rate" their favorite and least favorite zines. They then printed the top rankers for each category. Zine Guide received (and published) many angry letters about this practice.
