Why me?
Why Me? was a music freesheet zine from Dublin, Ireland.
Why me? was written by Paul English, a native of New Ross, Co.Wexford. It was released in 1996 and lasted for three issues.
The first issue was a split zine with Loserdom and was 20 A5 pages. Loserdom's debut issue had come out the previous month in June 1996 and Paul English approached its creators, Anto and Eugene, with the suggestion that they produce a one-off joint effort.
Why Me? continued for two more issues later on that year. The format was mostly music reviews and a couple of rant articles. The back page of issue #3 featured an advert for A House's No More Apologies album. An interview with Dave Couse was conducted in October 1996 in the Rock Garden with the intention of publishing it in Why Me? number four but this never materialised. Paul English went on to to release another freesheet, Analogue Bubblebath, a couple of years later.
