Cheryl Tapper created the zines Merge Disorder and Ragdoll and co-organized the New York City Zine Fest held at The New School in 2000 with Lauren Michele Fardig. Cheryl was active in the NYC chapter of riot grrrl.
In 2014 Cheryl donated the bulk of her zine collection, approximately 400 zines, to the Barnard Library.
