Chip Rowe was publisher of This is the Spinal Tap Zine and Chip's Closet Cleaner. He's the author of The Book of Zines which was published in June of 1997. The Book of Zines gave readers a great look into the zine world with excerpts from over 80 different zines, including Beer Frame, Murder Can Be Fun, Rollerderby and many more. Not stopping there, Rowe has maintained Zinebook.com since his book was published, a one-stop guide to the zine world from how-to articles to interviews and reviews of zines. The website has been an invaluable resource in tracking down zine history for ZineWiki.
