Violet Jones

Violet Jones publishes the zines Death Ship and Spunk. Jones has a California mailing address, does not use e-mail or any other computer applications, and strongly opposes the use of ISBN/ISSN numbers. For a time, Jones was rumored to be either female or an alter-ego of zinester Doug Holland, but is now generally believed to be male and physically independent of other noted zinesters.
Ideologically, Jones is an ethical anarchist in the mode of Fred Woodworth. Aside from his own zines, he has contributed to Glovebox Chronicles and Zine World: A Reader's Guide to the Underground Press.
