Born in Whitehall, MI, Alicia Dorr now lives in Chicago, IL, where she works as a freelance writer and publishes the zine Random Life In Progress.
While attending Columbia College Chicago, she served as an intern at Zine Guide, which introduced her to underground media. Her writing has appeared in Sanitary and Ship and Punk Planet. She contributes to the blog Chicagoist.
