New Philistine

New Philistine was a zine published by Karl Wenclas, focusing on literary politics and gossip. It was noted for its strongly anti-establishment views. Many prominent writers and editors of the day were paying subscribers of the zine. (NP first received media attention with a write-up about it in the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS of August 9, 1993.)
