John Crawford is a comics artist whose is best know for his comic strip, Baboon Dooley.
In the 1980's and 1990's, Baboon Dooley ran in dozens of punk fanzines such as Maximum Rock 'N' Roll. It was occasionally at the center of controversy in the scene when, for instance, in the 1980's he created a strip critical of the band MDC.
He also released a collection of his comic strips, entitled Baboon Dooley Rock Critic! Baboon Gets Ahead in Life, published by Popular Reality in 1988.
