Seed: an introduction to herbal healing is a 1/4-letter sized, 46 page, one-shot herbal healing zine by Jae Steele of Montreal, Quebec. It features articles on how to make herbal products (oils, salves and balms, creams and lotions) and a herbal treatment reference section, with a particular emphasis on "gyn-ecology" (urinary tract and yeast infections, emmenagogues and abortifactents). jae compiled the content for this zine after doing an apprenticeship on a small organic herb farm in Nova Scotia. Seed's first printing was in 2003.
