Rune was a science fiction fanzine published by The Minnesota Science Fiction Society.
Rune began life as MinnSTF Newsletter, but the group members very quickly changed the name ot Rune. The editor of Rune from 1974 till 1976 was Fred Haskell, for issue 39 - 48, with Editor Elect David Emerson. It was published throughout the 1970s.
Contributors of writing included David Emerson. Dennis Lien, Jon Singer, Bob Tucker (Le Zombie, Science Fiction Newsletter), Bob Vardeman (Sandworm), Dave Wixon, and Jim Young.
Contributions of art work included Derek Carter, Ken Fletcher, Ton Foster, Vikki Marchall, James Shull (The Essence), Al Sirois, Steve Stiles, Reed Waller, and Jim Young.
