Shape And Situate: Posters of Inspirational European Women zine is a collection of posters by artists, zinesters and other members of the DIY community of inspirational women from Europe. Edited by Melanie Maddison (Reassess Your Weapons and Colouring Outside The Lines) there are two issues published so far.
Issue 1 has contributions from Jo Harrison, Flo Brooks, Molly Askey-Goldsbury, Sarah Francis, Stephanie Young, Erica Smith, Verity Hall, Jenny Howe, Red Chidgey, Deborah M. Withers, Siân Williams, Emily Aoibheann, Sarah Maple, Charlotte Cooper, Ralph Fox, Jay Bernard, Gladys Badhands, Isy Morgenmufflel, Rachael House, and Lauren Hutchinson.
Issue 2 has contributions from Erica Smith, Rachael House, Melanie Maddison, Michelle Mendonca, Anna Knowles, Verity Hall, Kathryn Taylor, Nina Nijsten, Peter Willis, Emily Aoibheann, Ed Webb-Ingall, Cara Corden, Patrick Staff, R Clout, Kathleen Teadrinker, Marylou Anderson, Flo Brooks, Charlotte Cooper, Cendrine Rovini, Gladys Badhands, James Clayton, and John Davison.
An exhibition of posters from the zine was held at The Women's Library Zine Fest in June 2011. It is intended to show at other locations in future.
