sts is a zinester, musician and filmmaker from Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.
In the 1990's, sts released a number of issues of Painter Lewis. On the cover, she describes her publication as "an almost fiction zine". There are stories of relationships, stories of misadventure, stories of cacti phobia and skateboarding accidents, and real and imagined movies sts is making. She is also the editor of Nightmare Girl, a zine she released at the same time as Painter Lewis.
sts is also a well-known musician, and has played drums for the bands The Lookers, Cadallaca, The Haggard, and Shemo. She has recorded a number of CDs as a member of these groups.
