The Talisman was a science fiction fanzine by Roy W. Loan, Jr.
Published in Columbia Heights, Washington. DC, U.S.A. at least 3 issues of The Talisman were released in the late 1950s and early 1950s.
Issue 1 appeared in Fall 1949. It featured an editorial by Roy Loan, and the articles "What's The Name" by Philip N. Bridges (Science Fiction Terminology); "Fantasy In Russian Opera" by William H. Evans; "Reviewing Imaginative Literature" by Roy Loan; and "The Road to Fame (Part 1)" by D.R. Smith.
