Hangnail was a Riot Grrrl zine, published in the 1990's. A feature in issue five was coverage in writing and photographs of N.E. Pennsylvania's Riot Grrrl chapter, of which Lee Ann was a member, invading a mall dressed as stereotypical women. In her review of Hangnail in issue one of Sissy Butch, editor Lori says, referring to the photos that accompany this article, "If you look close, you'll spy me in a miniskirt, make-up and a wig!". Other issues included Riot Grrrl flyers, and a flyer by Corin of Heavens to Betsy. Issue six included an interview with the all-woman band Cockpit.
