Russ Forster is a writer and documentary filmmaker living in Chicago. He is the publisher of the zine 8-Track Mind and has been a contributor to Roctober, Crimewave USA, Hard Times, and other zines.
He has made films about eight-track tapes and cover bands.
He was briefly in a band with Ben Weasel and collaborated with Doug Ward in the formation of Underdog Records which was an outgrowth of the Underdog Collective and Underdog Zine.
