Tripping Corpse is one of many publications from California based artist Raymond Pettibon.

Six issues of Tripping Corpse have been published by SST Pubs between 1981 and 1985.

All publications comprised Pettibone's often violent pen-and-ink drawings.

Tripping Corpse #1 (1981) Raymond Pettibon's second artists' booklet and first issue within the "Tripping Corpse" series. Comprised of art, poetry (3 pages "psychedelic translation of Alan Ginsberg's Howl), politics, a concert review, a full page New Alliance ad and an interview with Black Flag. Full page drawings by Pettibon on 13 of the pages. Formal description: size: 28 x 21.6 cm - printed on multi-color paper - estimated print run 200 copies - 48pages / 24 pages all printed on one side only - stapled

Tripping Corpse #2 - 'The Hippie Thing' (1982), SST Publication comprised of art and an interview with the San Francisco band Hevy Balloon. Great full page drawings by Pettibon on 20 of the pages. Formal description: offset-printed - staple bound - black-and-white - size: 21,6 x 14 cm - 36 pages - edition size 500 (of which some 400 were destroyed)
