Power Machine is a 28 page zine by Hannah Potassium relating her experiences of living in an abandoned building in Emeryville, California, U.S.A. It is subtitled a lengthy discourse on the nature of squatting and Hannah describes how the building was squatted, how more people moved in, how the living group split and fractured, how she lost her sanity, how more people came and left and how eventually the building was handed back to the owner. It has since been demolished. The account is admittedly biased, and very entertaining. It also provides an important first hand document of squatting in the U.S.A.
