Placenta is a "punk rock and vegan parenting zine" edited by Rosa-Maria DiDonato of Austin, Texas, U.S.A.

Started in September 2002, Placenta includes radical/punk parenting topics such as homebirth, cloth diapers, taking kids to shows, and rejecting materialist "needs." The zine contains a ongoing feature called "Rocker mom vs. soccer mom," discussing what it means to raise a child in "punk rock" style. Also included are instructions for DIY diaper rash salve and a postpartum herb bath, along with vegan recipes.

Two issues have been published to date.
