Out Your Backdoor is a Michigan based zine done by Jeff Potter.

It started in 1991 and continues to be published. Its focus is multi-generational and family-friendly indie outdoor culture, featuring articles on bicycle culture, traditional outdoor activities like XC skiing, snowshoeing and canoeing, simple living, supporting local businesses, homebrew, cheap travel, etc. Early issues also featured a zine review section. OYB grew to 84 pages in 2005 with national distribution. Today its paper presence is on a direct-order basis and as an ezine with 1000+ articles.
