Now I Don the Mask of Melancholy is a zine by Joshua Plague, published in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A.

This is another zine in the series of zines beginning with the phrase "Now I..." that Joshua Plague released in the 1990's. Other titles included Now I Devour You, and Now I Write A Dictionary.

This particular zine is more personal, as it concentrates on Josh's Gothic past before fronting the punk bands Mukilteo Fairies and Behead The Prophet No Lord Shall Live. Josh tells his readers what it was like to be a goth in small towns in the U.S.A., like Spokane, Washington. e talks about the goth clothes he wore, going to a Legendary Pink Dots concert, incidents of police harassing goth kids, and walking with his mom and both of them being called "fags".
