Mae Undead is a writer, distro owner and zinester currently residing in San Jose, CA.
Her first zine was called Velouria's Red Hair (2001) but was not widely distributed. Mae's first zine series was Zerospace, a perzine that mostly contained "stream-of-consciousness" style of writing. Four issues were published between 2003-2004.
In 2005, Mae made another perzine called You're Insane Honey and her zombie compzine, Cerveauxxxxxx. Within the year, she also opened a zine distro under the same name. She distributes her own and a variety of other zines. After a year of the name You're Insane Honey, she changed it to Gimme Brains!!! because it no longer fit her taste.
