Kate Haas is a Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. author and zinester best known for her parenting zine, Miranda.

Kate frequently writes about life as a mother to two sons as well as her life before becoming a mother, which included a stint in Morocco as a Peace Corps volunteer. She has also made contributions to Mamaphiles.
