Jessica Amanda Salmonson is a writer, zine editor and publisher.

Her first publication, co-edited with Phyllis Ann Karr, was The Literary Magazine of Fantasy and Terror, released in 1973. Seven issues were published, the last one appearing in 1975.

In 1983, she released three small publications of collage/assemblage, called In This Vent, Slide Show, and Young Tyrone: A Melodrama, collections of dark humour and Dada-esque combinations of words and images.

After this, she assumed editorship of Fantasy Macabre in 1985 with issue 5, and stayed with the publication until the last issue, # 17, in 1996.

Salmonson is also the author of a number of books and anthologies.
