'''In A Prior Lifetime''' was a fanzine published by [[John Purcell]].

Since its start as a perzine in 2003,  ''In A Prior Lifetime''  has nonetheless featured contributors such as [[Chris Garcia]] ([[The Drink Tank]], [[Journey Planet]]), Eric Mayer ([[E-Ditto]]), [[Lloyd Penney]] ([[Torus]]), Dave Romm, Garth Spencer ([[The Royal Swiss Navy Gazette]], [[BCSFAzine]]), and Jim Sullivan.

Art work was contributed by Mark Burginger, Brad Foster, Kate Gaunt, Christopher Gerber, and [[Bill Rotsler]]. 

Photographs were by John Purcell, Dave Truesdale, and Frank Wu. 

Letters came from Leslie David, John Nielsen Hall, Janine Stinson ([[Peregrine Nations]], [[Steam Engine Time]]), Peter Sullivan, Laurraine Tutahasi ([[Feline Mewsings]]), and [[Ted White]] ([[Stellar]]).

John Purcell had earlier published [[This House]] from 1976 to 1989. After the publication of ''In A Prior Lifetime'', he began the zine [[Askance]].
