Faces of the Goddess is a long running zine by Sharon Niman from Crows Landing, California. It's a gently uplifting zine that mixes mysticism with mythology. Sample issue #22 from Spring '98 has articles on magical beasts and their meaning: Centaurs, Dragons, Pegasus, Unicorns, etc.; holy sites: Mt. Shasta, Mt. Arunachala, and Isle of Avalon; and holy beings: Hsi Wang Mu, goddess in the Chinese pantheon, Keltic Fairies, and Children of the Fey. Also it includes some notable pen and ink illustrations.
