The first issue was presented inside a corked bottle which was said had to be broken to get the zine. The first issue had stories about going to a boarding school on the gulf coast as a budding [[Punk|punk rocker]] and hoping for a hurricane to destroy the old establishment, a comic about a trip to Atlantic city, and teenaged girl motivated hitchhiking trip across the country. The second issue had stories about a park being destroyed in order to widen a road, a story of skinheads beating Ethan up and a ghost graffiti character in New Orleans. After issue two Ethan sent several months in Ireland and distributed the zine there. Issue three has stories about working a hot dog cart. Ethan then wrote a small one off A6 zine called a [[A Little Guide to Truing Bike Wheels]], the book ''Stories Care Forgot: An Anthology Of New Orleans Zines'' and the book ''Learning with intent to fall''.

Ethan Clark was on the of the zinesters participating in the ''[[Y'erd Me? Zine Tour]]'' of November 2002, which travelled along the east coast to a number of cities. Ethan read selections from '''Chihuahua and Pitbull''', which were later reprinted in the [[compilation zine]] [[Y'erd Me?]], which documented the work read on the tour.

Chihuahua and Pitbull was a zine from New Orleans.
